Tonight, our hearts are heavy. 💔

We’ve had two mamas reach out asking for help with food for their children. At this time, they are not on our Summer Feeding Program, and right now we cannot add additional families until we know we can fully provide for the 40 children already enrolled.

But hunger doesn’t wait. And neither do mamas doing everything they can to feed their babies.

These sweet families are asking for the basics…

🥛 Milk
🍞 Bread
🥪 Sandwich meat
🍜 Noodles
❤️ Food for their children

No mama should have to worry about how she’s going to feed her babies or stretch an empty pantry through the summer.

We do have their addresses if anyone would like to bless these families directly. Whether it’s a loaf of bread, a gallon of milk, or a few groceries, every act of kindness matters.

Many of you know Harper’s Hand exists because of one very special little girl — Harper. She has been on so many adventures, met so many amazing people, and continues to remind me daily why this little mission started in the first place.

Now it’s her turn for a little community love. ⚾️🥎

Harper’s travel ball team is headed to the World Series Tournament in Foley, and she has to sell 20 tickets to help reach her goal.

We have a mama in our community living with lupus who has not been able to work and is going through a difficult season. She’s doing the best she can, but right now she could use a little help catching her breath. ❤️

💙 Harper’s Hand Community Need 💙

Another agency reached out and asked us to help share this need with our community.

We have a 57-year-old grandmother who gained custody of her four grandchildren just 2 months ago. As you can imagine, stepping into this role has come with many unexpected expenses and challenges.

She is doing the very best she can to provide stability, love, and care for these babies, but right now she is in need of $187 to help get through this difficult season.

Sometimes life changes overnight, and while she may not have planned for this journey, she opened her heart and home without hesitation. ❤️

If you feel led to help lighten her load, no amount is too small. The $5, $10, and $20 donations truly add up and remind families like this that they are not alone.

🍎💛 SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM 💛🍎

Our Summer Feeding Program is truly a COMMUNITY effort. It takes a village, and we are so blessed to partner with several precious individuals who believe what we believe — that no child should ever have to wonder where their next meal will come from.

We are excited to share some wonderful news! We now have a partner who can help us purchase bread, snacks, and chip items that normally cost $4-$5 for just $1. 🙌 This means we can stretch every dollar even further and make a huge impact. A simple $50 donation can now go such a long way in feeding children in our community.

Food is not a privilege — it is a necessity. And while we know times are hard for so many families, we also know that children should never carry the burden of hunger. No child should spend their summer worrying about an empty pantry or going to bed hungry.

This program only works because of kind hearts, generous hands, and people willing to stand beside us and say, “We will help.” Every donation, every share, every prayer, and every act of kindness matters more than you know.

We have had so many messages come in and are trying our best to catch up. Please be patient with us as we work through them all. 💔

1. We have a family in need of $33 more for their power bill by 9 AM tomorrow morning.

2. We have a mama who recently left a relationship and is trying to rebuild her life. She is asking for gas money to be able to get to work this week so she can continue paying her bills and getting back on her feet.

3. We have an elderly couple who needs $42 more for their prescription medication. If possible, I would love to bless them with a little extra for their coffee as well. Their coffee can be purchased at Walmart, and truthfully, it’s something many elderly people look forward to each day. We completely understand — and they do too — that it is not a necessity, but if anyone feels led to bless them with a little extra comfort, I know they would be incredibly grateful. ❤️

4. We have a single mom in desperate need of a refrigerator.

All we can do is post and pray that someone reads this and feels led to help. No amount is too small — it truly adds up.

We hate to ask again, but all we can do is post and pray. ❤️

We have a mama of 3 who could really use a few groceries. She is on our Summer Feeding Program, but it does not begin until next week. Mom has been on maternity leave and currently has just $20 to her name.

We do have the ability to place a bulk grocery order for her, which helps stretch every dollar and provide more food for the family.

Update: need met

💙 Sweet 16 Birthday Need 💙

We have a very special Sweet 16 birthday need.

This young man actually cut a few yards for us last year and never asked for anything in return. Tomorrow, he turns 16 years old.

We are able to get him a birthday cake and cover a fishing trip — his absolute favorite thing to do — but we are hoping our community may want to help make his day even more special.

Would anyone like to help sponsor a birthday dinner for him or maybe contribute toward a gift? We would also love to collect funds to help cover the cost of his driver’s license (I believe it is around $30).

He is truly one of the most selfless kids you could meet. He has been through more than most children his age and now lives with his 73-year-old grandfather and his little sister. He knows his grandfather is doing the very best he can.

Last year, he cut yards for free just to help others and would still be doing it this year, but his grandfather’s lawn mower is currently broken.

Sometimes the kindest kids are the ones who ask for the least. If you would like to help us bless him for his 16th birthday, please message us. 🎂💙

First, I want to apologize for not being active this week. As many of you know, my father passed away. I had planned to take a few weeks away to grieve and be with family, but I just found out that we have had to close applications for our Summer Feeding Program due to not having enough sponsors.

My heart is heavy because this program means so much to our community.

These food boxes are passed out to children whose parents have reached out asking for help, and some are quietly delivered to children in our community that we know are in need.

The good news is that we have several ways you can help and several wonderful partners working alongside us. We also have an opportunity to order food at an extremely low rate, which helps us stretch every dollar further.

We will gladly accept monetary donations as well as food donations.
