We are always happy for the opportunity to support our Fire Museum of Texas. They continue to be a pillar for local fire service historical preservation and downtown tourism. If you haven’t been by, go check out the museum, and don’t forget about the annual Fire Festival on October 3rd!

From Aug. 9–14, delegates from across the United States and Canada come together to set the course for our union's future.

IAFF members can watch proceedings LIVE all week at iaff.org/convention/livestream (login required), starting with the Opening Ceremony at 9 a.m. CT Monday, Aug. 10.

Happy Independence Day! We at Local 399 are excited to celebrate our country and its 250th anniversary! Safety is key when handling fireworks and we have some tips to keep you safe. Remember though that popping fireworks is illegal in the city of Beaumont so feel free to join the City of Beaumont’s 4th of July Celebration. We look forward to seeing you there and we hope that you stay safe and have a great time!
