The USS Endurance is the STARFLEET International chapter for the Beaumont and surrounding areas of Southeast Texas. Do you love Star Trek and want to be part of a community of fans who also want to give back to the community? STARFLEET is the oldest and largest fan‐run Star Trek organization in existence. STARFLEET is a not‐for profit corporation registered with the IRS and chartered in the State

of North Carolina. At the core STARFLEET is essentially three things: a fan association, a service organization (charity efforts), and an educational association.

It is with a heavy heart that we need to let everyone know that our friend Earl Simon has passed away. If you have had the pleasure of meeting him, you would know first hand of the great conversations he shared along with his passion for Star Trek. He was always fun to be around, and is deeply missed. Our hearts are with his family as they grieve for him.

This is what Fleet First is all about! The Eastern Rim Funny Book & Vintage Con wanted the Star Trek TOS Bridge for their con, and thanks to Earl Simon, both the Endurance and Starship USS Zavala came together to make sure it would happen. It was an awesome first day! One more day to go! You don't want to miss out!!!
