Hello, ladies! School is starting soon, and we’re so excited to be back. We can’t wait to see all of your new faces! You may have seen us at the College of Engineering Orientation or New Student Orientation, or maybe from somewhere else! Either way, we’re so excited to have you interested in us! This semester’s recruitment theme is Country Cowgirl! Show up to events in your most yee-haw outfit. Dress code is a suggestion, not mandatory. If you have any questions regarding events or worries about not being able to make them due to schedules, message us on instagram or reach out directly to our Vice President and Head of Recruitment, Keeslyn Graham, at (409)790-5670. We can’t wait to get to know y’all more!
Event Details
Info Session
Learn more about our sisterhood by getting to know the sisters and what the sorority stands for along with the other potential new members (PNM’s)!
Online Info Session
For those who were unable to make the in-person info session, or those with more questions. The virtual info session will be done through Zoom. All are welcome! We can make it go as late as necessary so make sure to join!
Rootin’ Tootin’ Shootin’
Join us as Max Bowl for laser tag! Teams will be different each round so you can work with different sisters and the other PNM’s, allowing for everyone to get to work together and learn everyone’s strengths and weaknesses. We may even go bowling, if time permits!
Pin the Hat
Dress up in country attire for this fun game of trust amongst sisters! Photos of each active sister will be printed, as well as cowgirl hats. Close your eyes, spin around, and listen to the sisters as they guide you to pin the hat on the sisters! After the fun is over, active sisters will host an outfit contest. A prize will be given to the best dressed.
Cowgirl Crafts
Put on your craft hat for a fun time of conversations and creating! You could bedazzle your school bag with keychains, decorate your arm with jewelry, or make a gift for someone you love! There will also be scrapbooking, so BYOP (bring your own photos) if you’d like to contribute!
