🏈 Southeast Texas Legends: The NFL Journey of Danny Gorrer🏈
Before he was locking down receivers on Sundays, Danny Gorrer was a star at Port Arthur Memorial—racking up 68 tackles, 9 interceptions, and 2 touchdowns his senior year while earning All-State honors and dominating on the track as a state champion.
At Texas A&M, Gorrer became a two-year starter, totaling 141 tackles and building a reputation as a physical, dependable defender. Though undrafted in 2009, he carved out an NFL career through persistence—spending time with the Rams, Saints, Ravens, Seahawks, Buccaneers, and Lions.
His biggest moments came in Baltimore, where he stepped up on the big stage, including a standout performance under the lights on Sunday Night Football and a clutch interception in his return stint.
From Southeast Texas standout to NFL journeyman, Gorrer’s path is a testament to resilience, hard work, and never letting the moment pass you by.
