As senior graduations and awards ceremonies proceed, we want to thank all of our sponsors, donors for continuing to support our scholarship program. We are proud to make life just a bit better for those students pursing higher education.

Thank you so much to Jefferson County Go Texan for awarding me with such a prestigious award. I am truly honored to have such an encouraging and supportive community that motivates me to take the next step in my educational journey. This scholarship will allow me to pursue my dreams of becoming a dentist, granting me access to a higher education at a lower cost. Education is one of the foundations of humanity, which is why scholarships, such as this one, are important. They make fulfilling an ever growing thirst for knowledge possible for everyone.
I will be attending Lamar University and majoring in Biochemistry with a pre-dental concentration, where my love for the S.T.E.M. field will be officially nourished. Upon graduation, I will be going to dental school. This scholarship has opened up multiple opportunities for me in-terms of having financial stability as an undergraduate student and future graduate student. I plan to get my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and work at a clinic as a dentist, where I hope to help people who come to my office feel confident in their health, as well as their smiles.
Again, I am truly grateful towards the scholarship committee and donors for granting me such a wonderful opportunity, and I hope to continue to serve my community within my educational journey and beyond.
