The monthly meeting of Sisters Network Golden Triangle will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 5:30 pm until 7 pm at Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church, 3755 Fannett Road, Beaumont. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Sisters Network Golden Triangle Block Walk, October 8, 2016. 54 men, women and teens went door to door and distributed bags with breast cancer information and other items. The response was great, the Teens were awesome. This was a great learning tool for them to know about public service. Thank everyone who made this day effective but God made it a great day!

Sisters Network "Stop The Silence" 5k Walk/Run at Discovery Green Park in Houston, Texas on April 16, 2016. What an awesome experience to be with so many breast cancer survibors, family, friends and supporters to help raise awareness of the devastating impact breast cancer has in the African American community. American Cancer Society statics still show that although the incidence of breast cancer is low, the mortality rate is almost twice as high as White women. We MUST remain vigilant in disseminating this information and stressing the importance of mammograms and early detection. Continue to pray for a cure.

Just a sampling on our October 3, 2015 Brunch of Champions "Step Up To The Fight" celebrating breast cancer survivorship....it was hugely successful. The entertainment was awesome, the brunch was awesome, the love evident and everyone wants to do it again next year. As long as we keep God first and keep our hearts in the right place, God will make all things work for the good.
