It is with a sad heart that we share that Elder John Plake III passed last week. Please keep Sherry and the family in your prayers during this time.

A gathering of Mr. Plake’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Broussard’s. His interment will follow at Morse Cemetery, Buna.

💦 Water FAM Day + Water Baptisms • June 28
Celebrate with us during water baptisms, then stick around after service for food, water slides, and family fun! Don’t forget swimsuits and towels for the kids.

🎒 Back-to-School Supply Drive
We’re collecting school supplies through July to help bless students and families in our community and share the love of Jesus in a tangible way. Donation items can be dropped off in the front lobby.

ONE RUN. ONE PURPOSE. 🏃‍♂️🔥Running in faith. Covering Texas.

We are so proud of TJ Boles for officially making it home from Austin to Beaumont after an incredible journey running across Texas to help raise funds for the One City Church roof project.

Because of his faith and every person who supported along the way, we’ve raised over $21,000!

Thank you to everyone who ran alongside him, prayed, donated, encouraged him on the road, and showed up to celebrate at the finish line. Seeing our church family come together made this moment so special. We also want to thank the first responders who helped and supported along the way.

TJ, thank you for your sacrifice, perseverance, and heart for the house. We are so proud of you and your faith.
