💔 **WE ARE SO HEARTBROKEN.**

Today we learned that Mr. Richard has passed away.

There truly are no words to describe the loss we are feeling. Mr. Richard was such a wonderfully kind and beautiful soul. His love for his Maker was evident and we feel incredibly blessed to have known him. 🙏❤️

After learning more about his doctors visits there are some concerns about the care he received. And he passed away only three days after his first chemo treatment.

The family is also in need of legal guidance, as Mr. Richard did not have a will.

The only thing they found was his Bible, filled with Scriptures he had written down. That Bible is now an incredibly precious reminder of the man he was and the faith he carried with him.

If anyone knows an attorney who may be willing to offer this family a free consultation or pro bono legal services, please reach out to us. We can provide you with his daughter’s phone number so you can contact the family directly.

Update!!
There are comments here suggesting that we are judging "Chicken" and why don't we help him. And he deserves a companion.
The truth is WE would NOT have made this post if we haven't been dealing with this for years.
We've known him for years and he is a very nice person, just like many other homeless out there.
But we deal with this all the time and we know the patterns of these people with pets. We have helped him with several pets!
If you go way back in our page you will see what happened to the last one he had. We are trying to bring Awareness to the dumping and stealing of pets not just blasting someone. Do you know how emotionally exhausting it is to see all this!
You people need to go down there are watch this day in and day out. You will see what we see! We need volunteers - come help us!

8pm Thursday - ANOTHER DOG DUMPED ON McFaddin to the homeless!

We are heartbroken and angry. Yet another dog has been dropped off on McFaddin Street to the homeless! 💔

This man “Chicken” was dragging this poor girl behind him while riding his bike. We fussed at him and offered to take her, but he refused to give her up and quickly took off with her.

This poor baby was completely exhausted and visibly unwell.

How many more animals have to be dumped here before something is done?

People are bringing animals to this area and leaving them with people who are already struggling to care for themselves. These animals are being left without adequate care, shelter, food and water!

There are cameras in this area. Why can’t those cameras be used to identify the people who are dumping these animals?
If people knew they could be caught and held accountable, maybe they would think twice before abandoning another innocent animal.

We cannot keep watching these babies suffer. We are doing everything we can, but we cannot save them all by ourselves. Its emotionally exhausting!

**PLEASE—someone come try to get this dog!**
Just ask for "Chicken"
Everyone knows him!

We have a wonderful update on Smiley, another precious pet who lost his owners in the devastating fire in China. 💔

We are so happy to share that Smiley is doing so well in his new home! He’s fitting right in with his new family.

After everything this sweet boy has been through
We are so thankful to his new owners for opening their hearts and giving him the loving home he so desperately needed. ❤️

Prayer & Well Wishes Request!:

One of our pet owners was scheduled for a vet appointment this morning for this cancer wound on their pets leg.

At 9am this morning we received a call that they couldn't make it because only one block away from their home their cousin was shot. He is now fighting for his life.
