ROTARY ROAST CHECK PRESENTATION
We proudly presented a $10,000 donation — the largest in the past five years — to the Southeast Texas Food Bank from proceeds raised during the Spindletop Rotary Celebrity Roast of Jefferson Co. Sheriff Zena Stephens. Zena and members of her team were on hand for the presentation on May 12. SCHOLARSHIPS
Club President Debbie Bridgeman and Scholarship Chair Victoria Barnes were on hand to award TWO $1,000 scholarships to outstanding Beaumont seniors! Congratulations to Annabelle Gazaway of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Collegiate Academy, who was surprised on campus May 7, and Aldo Rodriguez of Beaumont United High School, who was recognized at the Senior Awards Night on May 11, for their academic excellence, leadership and commitment to community service. END OF YEAR/OFFICER INSTALLATION BANQUET
Make plans to join us for our end of year celebration at Bruno’s Italian Kitchen on Tuesday, June 30, at 6pm, as we install our incoming president Alicia Wright Jinkerson and 2026-27 officers. Plans are already underway for the new Rotary year as past, current, and future presidents met on May 27.

Congratulations to Rotarian Rebecca Woodland, Beaumont's Nature Center Manager at the Tyrrell Park Nature and Visitor Center, on receiving the 2026 Elizabeth Abernathy Hull Award from The Garden Club of America! Rebecca was recognized nationally for her work inspiring children and families to connect with nature through hands-on environmental education programs.
