June is and starting today, it is ! 🗓️ This is the perfect time to take a step back and reflect on how we can better support mental health and su***de prevention among men.

Reach out to the men in your life and check in on them. Reassure them that it’s okay to have a hard time, that they're never alone, and that help is always available. Let’s look out for each other through both the good times and the hard times. 💙

What a great week in San Antonio!

Last week, members of the Spindletop Center team were proud to attend and present at the Texas Council of Community Centers Annual Conference, where professionals from across Texas come together to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore new ways to support individuals and families through community-based mental health and IDD services.

We were honored to be part of the conversation and to share some of the innovative work happening here at Spindletop Center.

A special thank you to everyone who attended our team's sessions, asked questions, shared insights, and connected with us throughout the conference. We truly appreciate the opportunity to learn and collaborate with so many dedicated professionals from across the state.

We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone next year in Houston!

In 2024, su***de-related deaths were four times higher among males than females.

This , let’s remember that seeking help is a sign of strength. By supporting one another, fighting su***de, and challenging stigma, we can build a future where no one suffers alone.
