What is Adopt A Mom ?

The Adopt a Mom foundation will exist to:

Raise awareness of Domestic Violence against mothers, empower these women, and help to break the cycle of this silent epidemic.
Provide a place of resources for mothers, including but not limited to advocacy, career development, money management training, support groups, and basic necessities in a safe and nurturing environment.

In the future, the foundation sees the place for an Adopt a Mom house in every major city in the United States; a place for community and support; a place where mothers who were once victims and are now victors can come together to share and care with one another; a place where the children who have been exposed to violence can too find support. These homes will help establish a network of survivors and build a larger network to facilitate a healthy, safe environment while raising the quality of life for women and their children.

Continue the Mother’s Day gifting program. It is the belief of those involved with the foundation that so much can be said with a simple token. In some cases, these mothers have never once received a gift on Mother’s Day. Adopt a Mom wants these women to know that someone does care, they are appreciated and loved, and they have the support of their community to make their lives and the lives of their children better.

The last of the deliveries have been made just moments ago - Mother’s Day 2023 is in the books and it was a successful year! We made our goal again - 13th year in a row and we are not slowing down. Super proud of how far we have come. Huge thanks to everyone that has helped this year and years past - huge thanks to the countless donations and everyone that has help spread the word.
