Beaufort Woman's Club members said bon voyage to our 2025-2026 year of service and support of our community. The Crystal Coast Lady Sunset Dinner Cruise was the perfect place to honor the hardwork and dedication that our officers and our members put in this year to continue the legacy of the incredible women of the past on whose shoulders we stand.

For over 100 years the Beaufort Woman’s Club has played a key role in shaping the community fabric of Beaufort. The present-day club traces its roots to January 21,1921, just a few months after American women were granted the right to vote. Our club has served decade after decade as a strong force in making Beaufort one of the best small towns in America.

We invite you to come make history with us! Help us continue the legacy!
It's amazing how good it feels to live in our incredible community and know you are a contributing partner in it's success. Send us a message to get connected!

Beaufort Little League Baseball 2026 season has ended. Tee Ball is on my mind, and LESSONS LEARNED at the field! Our Club voted this year to become a sponsor of a little league team. ⚾️ We were assigned a tee ball team.πŸ’›πŸ€ Let me see if I can EVEN BEGIN to share with you the joy we experienced during their very first baseball season! We had matching BWC tee shirts made to show our support! Those of us who attended games added years to our lives by experiencing deep belly laughs and exhilarating giddiness over cuteness overload! 🀩 Tee Ball is the foundation of the Little League experience. Games only last 45 minutes, but that's more than enough time for these hard-working, budding champions. They are learning tough lessons like hand-eye coordination by hitting THAT dang ball off the tee, then figuring out how to run counter-clockwise to first base! πŸ€”Leaving their bat behind is a plus! πŸ˜‰ They are mesmerized by the dirt on the field. πŸ€ͺ They are trying their best to concentrate on the game at hand. But...most times...their curiosity gauges are bursting out of control! πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« They are fighting the urge to feel, dig, roll, and throw the beautiful dirt. πŸ™„πŸ˜‚ They are learning patience as they wait their turn to bat πŸ‘, one little dude entertained us everytime it was his turn. He would use his body as a bull dozer and his bat as the shovel as he would push up some dirt before he would get setup to hit at the plate. πŸ₯°πŸ€£WE LOVE HIM❣️ πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ I am guessing he will be a tycoon in the heavy equipment industry! EVERY CHILD hits EVERY INNING so they are learning inclusion, no one feels left out. πŸ˜‰ They are learning resilience when they miss the ball...its just part of the process. πŸ₯Ί They learn TEAMWORK. They look around and realize everyone wearing the same color uniform works together. A favorite was the little girl whose Mom suited her up with a hot pink helmet, belt, socks, and cleats with hot pink accents! SHE was learning a lesson in GIRL POWER! 🌼🩷 She represented us well, she was a really good player! These little minds were also learning to FOCUS, which honestly shined a GINORMOUS LIGHT on the PATIENCE, ❀️ KINDNESS, ❀️ and GOODNESS ❀️of our COACHES πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°! They are miracle workers! They find 20 different ways to explain how to hold a bat. πŸ™„ They are QUICK as Lightening when jumping out of the way of an anxious batter swinging! Our coaches exemplified that praise motivates better than criticism. They were dedicated volunteers. How important they were to this long learning journey ahead of these tee ball players who hopefully continue in the sport! THANK YOU COACHES!!! YOU ALL GET TROPHIES! πŸ†πŸ†πŸ† Because of you these kids learned a love for the game and basic social discipline! To the community of fans made up of family and friends who know and love these players, thank you for welcoming us into the local park culture at Freedom Park to cheer with you, laugh with you, rediscover the simple pleasures of feeling all the emotions of the innocence of youth. πŸ₯ΉπŸ’›πŸ€ Our mission is to support our community and we want you to know this experience... because of each one of you, has been one of the most enjoyable and enriching things we have participated in! THE BIG WIN is defined by the kids smiles after the game as they run to the concession stand for a well deserved free game dog! Great job The Potter Barn concessions! You put out excellent food all season long! ❀️ Until next year...y'all keep doing what you do best and let us know how to help you! THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!

Today, May 21, at The Beaufort Hotel Pavilion, many of our members attended the Celebration of Life Service for our friend and fellow member, Cindy Jarrett Huss If I am correct, Cindy moved to Beaufort 6 years ago. What a testimony of who she was, simply by the number of people who came out to support her family and each other in this time of great loss. Cindy was our Membership Coordinator and the bright smiling face that greeted us as we signed in at our BWC meetings. We have missed her over the past year while she has been living life to the fullest and creating every memory possible with her family. No regrets for our Cindy. One thing she loved was Diet Coke...with a piece of cake! So after the service there was a reception in her honor with her favorites. She also loved walking her dog in the neighborhood and visiting with neighbors. I met a neighbor at the service who noticed the sky over Cindy's house had a "C" formed in the clouds. She snapped a picture and shared it. Now...read the words to the opening song of her service... Somewhere Over the Rainbow ...WHERE troubles melt like lemon drops, way above the chimney tops...that's where you'll find me...

FLY HIGH! WELL DONE CINDY HUSS!πŸ₯°

May 14, BWC MEETING
So much going on in our little piece of heaven! Our guest speakers were Ron Dupuis, Chair of Beaufort Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Jennifer Welborn, Community Engagement Director & Deputy Town Clerk. Upkeep, guarding greenspaces, and planning attractive events are their specialty! Thank you for all you do to make Beaufort memorable for our locals and visitors!
We had a potluck dinner at this meeting and it rivaled any family reunion spread of food! Every plate was full of goodness!
Be sure to grab your tickets for our end of year gathering as we cruise down Taylor Creek wrapping up this very successful year! Another labor of love year for our community will soon be in the Beaufort Woman's Club history books!

It's CATCH UP TIME! ...APRIL MEETING was held April 08 with excitement and anticipation! Our guest speaker was Glad Atkins of the Beaufort Foundation. It was very satisfying to hear of all the great projects coming to fruition in our beautiful community! Anticipation loomed in the air as we prepare for our big fundraiser, Casino Night scheduled for next week, April 16, at The Beaufort Hotel. This year's proceeds will benefit Misplaced Mutts and The MirIAM.
