Rotary Shrimp Race

Rotary Shrimp Race Sea Island Rotary Charity Shrimp Race on Saturday, October 4, 2014 - Drop at 1:30PM, Waterfront Park, Beaufort, SC. All proceeds directly benefit charity.

During the Beaufort Shrimp Festival 5,000 rubber floating shrimp will be dropped into the Beaufort River adjacent to the Waterfront Park. Each shrimp will have a unique number 0001 through 5000. The shrimp will float naturally with the tidal current toward a finish line. The first 10 shrimp to cross the finish line receive the following cash prizes:

1st Place…..$2,000.00
2nd Place.....$1,000.00

3rd Place…….$750.00
4th Place…….$500.00
5th Place…….$250.00
6th Place…….$100.00
7th Place…….$100.00
8th Place…….$100.00
9th Place…….$100.00
10th Place.…..$100.00

In addition, the top 10 finishing Shrimp have a chance to win a $1,000,000 grand prize if their unique number correctly matches a randomly selected number by OddsOn Promotions.
