The Zonta Club of Beaufort welcomed community members to its New Member Social on Sunday, May 17 at Lowcountry Outreach, offering guests an opportunity to learn more about the organization’s mission of empowering women and girls through service and advocacy.

Our New Member Recruitment Social was a huge success!

Thank you to everyone who helped plan, set up, speak, and welcome guests at Lowcountry Outreach on May 17. Because of your warmth and hospitality, we had great conversation, lots of laughter, and 4 new members signed up at the event!

From learning about Zonta International’s mission of empowering women through service and advocacy, to hearing our member stories, playing Service Bingo, and filling out membership applications, our guests got a true taste of who the Zonta Club of Beaufort is: a supportive community of like‑minded women serving others and having fun together.

If you couldn’t make it but are interested in learning more or getting involved, send us a message or visit our website at zontaclubofbeaufort.org to connect. Or drop in on the 4th Tuesday of each month at Smokehouse on Paris Ave. at 6pm. Empowering women through service and advocacy starts right here in Beaufort.
