Austin Veterinary Outreach and Rescue is an all volunteer, registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to the health and welfare of animals in our community. Our mission is to help provide affordable care for pets including, but not limited to, low cost vaccines, Heartworm testing, and spay and neuter. In addition to providing care for owned pets, we also work closely with shelters to pro

vide medical care to homeless pets. We have an active foster program and house cats and dogs that are in need of forever homes. All animals adopted through AVOR will be completely vetted before adoption. Our goal is to reduce the number of homeless animals and animals needing veterinary care.

This sweet girl is looking for her forever home, and we’re hoping someone in our community is the perfect match!

Kona is about 4 years old and true to her breed—loyal, dignified, and thoughtful. She can be a little cautious at first, taking time to observe new people and surroundings, but with patience and kindness, she builds a strong, loving bond.

She’s playful and does especially well with male dogs 🐾

Kona is looking for a home that understands the importance of slow, gentle introductions and is willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe and trust.

Big thanks to Dr.Austin, The Golf Farm and all of our amazing volunteers for making today’s vaccine clinic possible. We saw SO many sweet faces that were able to get free heartworm tests and low cost vaccines and preventatives. Details for next clinic in May will be posted soon.
