Join us for the 2nd annual pier and surf fishing event on 14–15 November: pier fishing on the 14th and surf fishing on the 15th. Thank you to Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier for its continued support, and to E-Z Bait and Tackle, Chasin Tails Outdoors Bait & Tackle, and Oceanview Inn. Everything you need to fish will be provided—just show up! Sign up today using the link below. Warriors will be directly notified if they are selected near the end of October, we’re allowing time for Warrior’s to sign up. Please note: this is separate from the Belhaven event on 7 November.

The weather didn’t want to cooperate with the 5th annual GFL Environmental Warrior Fishing - Shearon Harris event, however when it was all said and done, Team Take a Warrior Fishing, Inc. came out on top.

Due to the weather, we had to improvise and adapt, and man did we! The participants agreed to shift the start time, remove the blast off and allow the boaters determine the safest time to launch with their Warrior. Some started as early as 8am and while others waited until after lunch, but they all had to return to the dock no later than 5pm. In all, we ended with over 110 participants that braved the weather and came out to support the mission of TAWF.

Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors and especially to the boaters who helped make the 5th annual Shearon Harris event a huge success.

Thank you to Michael Letchworth and his team at Sam Jones BBQ for providing the food at the last minute. Thank you to Jovan Almonte of the Thereelbasspursuit for taking all the photos and videos. Thank you to Sam Summerlin of SLS Customs for making the awesome trophies.

🎣🎣WEATHER ANNOUNCEMENT 🎣🎣

GFL Environmental Warrior Fishing - Shearon Harris will happen. There will not be a blast off. Boats will depart when they feel it’s safe, however, all participants must return to the Bartley Holleman ramp no later than 5p.

From there, weigh in occur, food will still be served and prizes will still be issued.

Everyone be safe, have fun and catch a lot of fish.

Regardless, if your partner drops out of the Warrior Fishing - Shearon Harris event, come join us at the Aviator Brewing Company tonight. We may be able to find you another partner, but we will definitely be able to feed you great food.
