The world’s largest digital and on-the-air Scouting event, Jamboree on the Air (JOTA), takes place October 16–18, 2026!

Every year, millions of Scouts take to the airwaves to connect with fellow Scouts across the country and around the globe using amateur radio. It’s an incredible hands-on way to learn about science, technology, and global communication—and most importantly, it’s a lot of fun!

🍋☀️HOT DAY. BIG HEART. DELICIOUS BBQ. COLD LEMONADE. ONE AMAZING WEEKEND! ☀️🍋

What a weekend at the Sarah James Fulcher Redfish Tournament! ❤️🎣

Troop 404 and Pack 404 were honored to partner with this incredible foundation and be part of a weekend that is about so much more than fishing. The heart and spirit behind the Sarah James Fulcher Foundation were felt in every smile, every conversation, and every bit of laughter throughout the weekend.

The BBQ competition delivered some seriously delicious BBQ, and our Scouts were proud to serve it up to a hungry crowd! From the first plate to the last, the BBQ was a hit. The proof was in the line of hungry customers— and the compliments kept coming!

Then there was our fresh-squeezed lemonade stand… Let's just say, that lemonade was POPULAR! The line stayed constant, the reviews were awesome, and we had plenty of repeat customers coming back for another cup. 404 may have a few future lemonade entrepreneurs!

It was HOT, but our Scouts never lost their smiles. They worked hard, served cheerfully, and welcomed everyone who came through — proving once again that service is at the heart of what we do.

And the best part? Getting to be part of a weekend centered around a foundation with such an incredible heart for children and families in our community.

Full hearts, tired Scouts, happy customers, delicious BBQ, and A LOT of lemonade later… we’re already looking forward to next year!

The Sarah James Fulcher Redfish Tournament returns to Cedar Island this weekend, kicking off Friday evening, August 7!

Troop 404 has officially rolled into Camp Raven K**b! The trailer is unpacked, tents are up, flags are flying, and camp is starting to feel like home.

We planted our Diamond Lady as soon as camp was set. Before the week is over, she'll have served as the landmark that guides tired Scouts back to camp after long days of merit badges, hikes, shooting sports, and evenings around the campfire.

No matter where Scouting takes us, we carry a little piece of home with us. That's what Scouting Cape Lookout is all about.

Here's to a week of adventure, new skills, lasting friendships, and plenty of stories to bring home.

🇺🇸 If the cheers from the crowd were any indication, Scouting is back in a big way! 🇺🇸🎉

As America begins celebrating its 250th birthday, there couldn't have been a better way for Troop 404 and Cub Scout Pack 404 to make our first official public appearance than in Beaufort's beloved July 4th Parade!

From the moment we stepped onto Front Street, the welcome was incredible. 👏 The applause, waves, smiles, and shouts of encouragement reminded us just how special this community is. 🥰

The patriotic spirit was electric, and it spread from one person to the next. ❤️🤍💙 Our Scouts proudly carried the 🇺🇸 Stars and Stripes, honoring the freedoms we celebrate this Independence Day and the generations who built our nation over the last 250 years.

From our soaring 🦅 eagle riding in the Cub Scout float to the iconic ⚓️🖤🤍 Cape Lookout Lighthouse in the back of Ms. Caroline's truck, Troop 404 and Pack 404 were proud to introduce ourselves to the community in true patriotic fashion.

As America 250 begins, we're reminded that the future of our country depends on today's youth. Scouting helps build character, leadership, service, and citizenship—values that have strengthened America for generations and will continue to do so for the next 250 years. 💪🇺🇸

Thank you, Beaufort, for the unforgettable welcome. Your enthusiasm made our first parade one we'll never forget. ❤️

Most of all, we're excited that families in Beaufort and the surrounding communities now have more opportunities and more choices in Scouting. This is just the beginning, and we can't wait to serve our community for years to come. ⚜️🌟
