“Don’t. Take. It. Personal”
I know it feels like the words were aimed at you.
Like every closed door…
Every unanswered call…
Every sideways glance…
Every rejection…
Every accusation…
Was written with your name on it. Here’s where I interject to say, not everything is about you.
Some people are fighting battles they never talk about. Some are bleeding in places you’ll never see. Some, are responding from their own pain, not from your presence.
So don’t make someone else’s storm your identity.
Not every “no” is your failure.
Not every silence is your rejection.
Not every delay is your denial.
And not every attack is an assignment with your name on it.
Sometimes God is protecting you.
Sometimes He’s redirecting you.
Sometimes He’s simply revealing who can go where He’s taking you.
So stop carrying what doesn’t belong to you.
Release the offense.
Release the guilt.
Release the need to explain yourself to people who have already decided not to understand.
Stand tall.
Keep your heart pure.
Keep your hands clean.
Keep your eyes on your purpose.
Because your value isn’t determined by someone’s opinion. Your identity isn’t defined by their misunderstanding. And your destiny isn’t canceled by their rejection.
So today take time out to breathe ….to Smile….to Pray….to Walk in peace…..but most importantly whatever you do….Don’t take it personal.
