We would like to take a moment to congratulate Joseph (“Joe”) McIntosh on being accepted for summer missionary service. He is the 19-year-old son of former KMM missionaries Pastor Daniel and Julee McIntosh of Beattyville, KY. Joe will be a major asset to our team, as he has a huge heart for hands-on work. His help with maintenance and landscaping will be a major help this time of year as the grass grows and we have lots of outdoor needs. He has already helped us in so many ways this spring, all with a cheerful, hard-working attitude. Joe is planning to work 15 hours a week for the Mission from now until his college lets out in mid-May. (He is studying welding at Hazard Technical & Community College). Once school lets up for the year, Joe plans to work 30 hours a week until camp starts. He will then work for camp through July 25. Joe will not be receiving compensation from camp itself (except for some compensation during the four weeks of summer camp he is working). Consequently, Joe is raising support for his service to the camp for this month and his next three months. Would you consider making a gift toward his hard work? It would be a very worthy investment! You can do so by following this link: https://www.kmminc.org/page/1236. Please scroll and find Joseph McIntosh’s name near the bottom. You may also give by check. Simply make the check payable to KMM and mail it to our address at PO Box 588, Beattyville, KY 41311. Just include his name on a sticky note so we know which account you would like the gift to go into. Thank you for your consideration!

Greetings!

Attached is the most current newsletter with prayer & praise requests.
Summer camp is in the works. We have held one spring retreat already, and gearing for a second. In addition, there will be a spring dental clinic occurring in a couple weekends (please keep this outreach in prayer as many will hear the gospel, and Lord willing will respond).

As the letter shares, Julee is the buyer for camp food activities this year. This includes not just summer camp, but retreats, dental clinics, etc. Please keep her in prayer as this is a large responsibility, and she desires to not only honor the lord, but to do her best to help keep cost down and doing what can be done to help keep campers from wasting meals.

If you know any one (including churches) who would like to receive updates, please feel free to forward our letter and let them know to write us to let us if they would like to receive updates via e-mail or snail mail.

Church is not an organization you join: it is a family
where you belong, a home where you are loved and
a hospital where you find healing. ~Nicky Gumbel

I am enjoying my ladies Bible study.
Here is a picture of some of our
ladies that were able to make it.

Sugar Camp continues to be a blessing.

In March we had a ladies spring tea. The theme was
“Precious in His Sight.” Our two oldest
granddaughters (Bazile & Esther), and
our oldest daughter (Carolyn) were
able to be a part of it.

God has opened up two new opportunities
to minister. On Tuesdays I go to the Hub and have a Ladies Bible class.

I am also the Camp buyer for 2026. I will be buying supplies for Retreats, Dental Clinics, Work groups as well as Camps.

Agape Bible Church has grown since
The church plant. We praise God for
the ministry outreach, and the
fellowship. Currently, we are traveling through a study in the book of Revelation.

This summer’s camp theme is “UNASHAMED. Ask Me Why,” with the key verse Philippians 1:20 “as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed….” This reminds me of a story by Neil Anderson.

I urge you therefore, brethren… to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice (Rom 12:1).

An African pastor was overwhelmed by rebels who demanded that he renounce his faith. He refused. The night before they took his life, he wrote the following lines on a scrap of paper:

I am part of the "Fellowship of the Unashamed." I have Holy Spirit power. The die has been cast. I've stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of His. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals!

I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by presence, lean by faith, love by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power.

My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few, my Guide reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.

I won't give up, shut up, let up, or burn up till I've preached up, prayed up, paid up, stored up, and stayed up for the cause of Christ.

I am a disciple of Jesus. I must go till He comes, give till I drop, preach till all know, and work till He stops.

And when He comes to get His own, He'll have no problems recognizing me. My colors will be clear.

Thank you so much for your faithful financial and prayer support. It is because of your provision that God allows us to be co-workers in the ministry here in Kentucky.

For this reason, I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers. Ephesians 1:15-16

September’s theme was about obtaining God’s Wisdom. “Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding.” Proverbs 3:13. I sang “Christ Our Wisdom, Help us trust when we grow weary, Free us from our anxious thoughts, Give us grace to see more clearly, You are God, and we are not.”

October’s theme was about surrendering our lives as a living sacrifice to God. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship,” Romans 12:1. I sang the song, “A Living Sacrifice, I look upon my life and realize at last, Within myself there's nothing I can do, And yet here I stand to offer all I am, And give myself completely, Lord, to You.”

November’s theme was becoming vessels of God’s mercy. “Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” Colossians 3:12. I sang the song, “Vessels of Mercy. Make me a vessel of mercy, Father, make me a vessel that's true,
Fill me with love and compassion, and fashion my heart to be a vessel worthy of You.”

December’s theme is about our Hope at Christmas. “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel,” which translated means, GOD WITH US, Matthew 1:23. I sang the song, “When Hope Came Down, Our Savior King is here before us, All to hear the sound, The song creation sang, When hope came down.

The Lord spoke very clearly to our hearts, and a new ministry has begun. But to do so, we needed to step down from ministering at Fish Creek Bible Church (FCBC). This was a challenging decision to make, but as I once heard a preacher share a profound message, he stated “Jesus guides our steps and He guides our stops... Sometimes you got to stop doing something before you can go and do something else.” That’s just what we had to do. We are now ministering more locally. FCBC is a 30 min drive away from home. We are now in town planting a new church called Agape Bible Church (ABC). While this is a small gathering, we have already seen a visitor with the potential of continual attendance.

FCBC did complete the shoe boxes for the Samaritan Purse Christmas Child project before concluding our time at Fish Creek. Over 90 boxes were prepared and delivered! Before leaving, we did ensure that a pastor was available to take on the ministry full time, so Fish Creek is NOT without leadership.

Ministry with ABC is not much different than before. Daniel still prepares and shares messages each Sunday, and Julee leads the praise and worship music. We are currently attending in homes, and once a month are able to rent out the Senior Citizens facility. We appreciate prayers as we seek a more permanent, and affordable place to fellowship and worship together.

For thanksgiving, we praise the Lord that the entire family was available to visit together and celebrate. Ministry is a blessing, especially when we are able to do so with the love and support of our loved ones. One of the family members needed to fly in to visit, and there was some concern with the recent government shutdown and the holiday travels that the TSA lines might be a nightmare to journey through, and alarm that the flights might delay or be cancelled. Praise the Lord the flight here was without any major hiccups, however, the return flight was delayed at last minutes notice and a quick reshuffling and purchase of a new flight ticket was required. And we are grateful that our family member did make it home safely and without interfering with their next day work schedule.

A new year will soon be upon us. What are your plans for this coming time? As we step away, from this past year of 2025, and into the new one of 2026, may we commit our ways, our steps, our paths unto the Lord in everything we do.

Here is a scriptural blessing we wish for all as this new year begins soon.

Rom 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Question?
Have you recently seen the controversial video by Kirk Cameron? Recently he shared a follow up, which I believe he handled very well. It can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NrwM3Qy-5w

This topic fits in with this coming Sunday's message in Ecclesiastes. Death, hell, and where do the lost go after they die?
What are your beliefs. What are your view points? What do you think? Kirk encourages everyone to study the scriptures and allow the Spirit of God to guide you into His understanding, whether you agree with Kirk or not in his statements. I do the same. Just like the Berean's searched the scriptures daily, we need to be doing the same.
