Thank you to our community of volunteers and donors! Our first cupcake fundraiser for the fine arts programs this year was a success. The teacher request forms from our choir, band, speech, theater and studio art teachers will be coming in at our next BFAB meeting on Sept. 21st, and events like this one will help fund their requests! Thank you all so much for your support.

Thank you to everyone who attended our first meeting of the year. It is absolutely worth one hour's time to support our teachers and students involved in band, choir, studio art, speech and theatre programs at BHS. Thank you!

Great summer project!

BIG Summer Art Project Announcement!

The BHS Art Department & BHS Art Clubs will be creating TWO community murals this summer!

🎨 A community paint-by-number mural during Homestead Days where families and community members will help bring the artwork to life!
🏁 A mural for the Gage County Fairgrounds celebrating the Beatrice Speedway, 4-H, FFA, agriculture, and fair traditions.

We are looking for current students in grades 8–11 who want to help create these large-scale public art projects.

Interest Meeting: May 19 at 6:30pm in the High School Commons.

No mural experience needed — just creativity, teamwork, and a willingness to be part of some amazing projects for our community!
