Membership Drive:
Crime Stoppers is looking for members. We meet semi-monthly, and sometimes monthly depending on what is going on. Meetings are usually over lunch somewhere where we can grab a bite to eat. We will discuss things like crime stoppers calls, fundraising and ways to get our name out into the public. You will also vote on rewards to any tips that led to arrests. Its quick, its easy and its interesting. All members are required to participate in fundraisers and any events we are involved in. We try to have at least two fundraisers per year.

NEWS RELEASE THEFT FROM RURAL WYMORE PROPERTY

DATE & TIME: 01-08-2026 / 12:34 pm

LOCATION: South 108th Road / East Spruce Road – Wymore

OFFENSE: Theft value between $1,500.00 - $5,000.00
Criminal Mischief $1500.00 - $5,000.00

CASE #: 2026-0109

DETAILS:

A farmer reported the theft of copper wire from his irrigation pivot and damage to the pivot, which was in a field near South 108th Road and East Spruce Road in rural Wymore. The victim reported the theft and criminal mischief occurred between January 6th and January 8th, 2026. The victim made the discovery while doing some follow-up maintenance on the equipment between those dates.

The Gage County Sheriff’s Office encourages farmers and property owners to check their fields, farms, property and buildings and report any damage, theft, or other suspicious circumstances to law enforcement as soon as possible. Reporting crimes as soon as possible increases the likelihood of determining who is responsible and making an arrest.
