Gage County Courthouse Holiday Lights A Gage County tradition since 1987, an annual gathering to light up the Gage County courthouse. The brainchild of J.T.

Kicking off the season each year featuring Christmas music and a visit from the one and only Santa Claus the free community lighting ceremony is treasured area tradition. Thornburg, the lighting ceremony and on-going maintenance of the lights is coordinated by a team of community volunteers each year.
