Looking for a community service project? Please consider a teddy bear drive to help the children in crisis within the state of Delaware. 🐻 This is a scary time. Let’s give our kids a teddy bear to hug. Our goal is to provide teddy bears to foster kids, to the local police and firefighters, to homeless children, to kids who are scared, etc. We can’t do this without your help. The Delaware Chapter of Hugs Across America (Beary’s Special Friends of Delaware) is looking to partner with members of the community as well as businesses within the community to collect teddy bears for children here in Delaware. If you would like to make a donation, please use the donate button provided and indicate your donation is for the Delaware Chapter. It’s a scary time and children deserve a hug! A teddy bear gives comfort to those kids that feel all alone and scared. Consider holding a teddy bear drive or placing a drop box in your place of business, church, schools, etc. Our goal is to provide teddy bears to our local police officers, local organizations that deal with foster kids, abused children, firemen, etc. so we can “hug” those children who are frightened. ❤️ Contact Debbie Wallace at [email protected] or 302-547-4522. Teddy bears, stuffed animals and pjs being donated to Paris Kidz Klubs Team. Each teddy bear and stuffed animal has a note attached to it. Beary’s Special Friends of Delaware is always looking for donations if you want to give an unused stuffed animal for a child in Delaware. What service project are you doing thru quarantine? This is mine.

It’s a scary time right now...parents are scared, kids are scared. Would you consider a donation from our wish list? We want to give our kids here in Delaware a Teddy Bear (or other stuffed animal) to hug, to help with that anxiety. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated! Hugs!

Happy Valentine’s Day! 💗 How about showing some love to a child today? We can use your help by spreading love through the hug of a teddy bear. Can you imagine being a child and lying awake at night realizing the monsters are real as you see your bedroom door open? Or being a child and being moved from home to home with complete strangers? Have you ever been scared or sad and just hugged a teddy bear? It's almost as good as getting a hug yourself. Sometimes a teddy bear is that one thing that helps you...it's that tangible item you can hold onto and hug. With all the scary things going on in our world today, please consider donating a teddy bear or holding a teddy bear drive to collect teddy bears for foster children in Delaware.
