Inspections are a big part of the race morning! It’s one of the only chances for racers to visualize what lines they’ll take during their run. They only get one chance to memorize 30+ gates!

Our entire Bear Valley race team made their way to Dodge Ridge this past weekend for an epic 3 days of giant slalom! Huge shout out to for all the great pics! 📸 🙌🏼

Avalanche awareness training and complimentary wine!

Team Parents:

This weekend, coaches will es**rt their teams to avalanche awareness training in the Bear Bungalow for their afternoon training session. Parents are welcome to attend this free event. The training is scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday at 1230.

Also, please join us for a complimentary glass of wine Maury’s Bar in the Sunroom on Saturday, 1/25, following the afternoon training session. Identify yourself as a team parent and our bartenders will pour you a glass of wine as a token our appreciation for supporting our team program.

Congrats to all our Rasmussen racers this past weekend! It was chilly but clear weather as U8/U10/U12 racers descended on Bear Valley! Athletes from China Peak, Dodge Ridge and Snow Summit joined our Bear valley racers for this 2-day event.

Thank you to all who were involved with and who attended the dinner afterwards. It was an incredible evening!

This weekend we welcome back teams. Looking forward to a great January!

We’re amped up for the 2025 Rasmussen Classic Slalom race this weekend!

Young racers from 6 Central and South Sierra resorts will convene on Saturday and Sunday at Bear Valley. Come out and cheer on our athletes!

Rasmussen Classic Commemorative Cowbells to cheer on our racers will be on sale in the Sunroom on Saturday and Sunday of the race while supplies last. Price is $15 with proceeds benefiting Bear Valley Snowsports Foundation.
