Wreaths Across America at Monocacy Cemetery

We are asking for help in collecting the wreaths placed on National Wreaths Across America day on Saturday, January 13th at 10:00am.

Please bring work gloves as there may be sap from the wreaths. You could also bring a broom which can be used to collect multiple wreaths to drag to the collection area.

Today we launch the 2023 Wreaths Across America campaign and hope that you will sponsor one or more wreaths for our 491 Veterans this year. We are also in need of volunteers to place these wreaths on December 16th.

CALLING ALL VETERANS! Monocacy Cemetery would like a Veteran of each military branch to attend the Wreaths Across America ceremony on Saturday, December 18th at Noon. If you are able and willing to attend, please comment below or email [email protected] ASAP.

We already have Veterans from the Army, Marine Corp, and Coast Guard. Still need Air Force, Navy, Space Force, Merchant Marines, and POW/MIA.

We have surpassed 50% of our goal in just 5 days—253 sponsored wreaths out of 475 needed. We also have 105 people volunteering to place the wreaths at this point. This has been an INCREDIBLE week. PLEASE keep sharing this message so we can hit our goal!
