82 years ago today, June 6th, 1944, nearly 160,000 Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy France in the name of freedom. 9000 of them were either killed or wounded on those heavily fortified beaches. Today we remember them and their sacrifice. ♥️🤍💙

This weekend, we remember the meaning of the day, the weekend, the sales, the BBQ’s and the day off. We humbly kneel down, recite your name and rank, as we place a flag beside your head stone. To those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, we’ll never forget you. To the families you left behind, we’ll pray with them. God bless the men and women we lost that wore the uniform ♥️🤍💙

53 years ago, today, our last combat troops were withdrawn from Vietnam and the last POW held in North Vietnam was returned to American soil. We appreciate and honor all who served during this era, and say “Welcome Home.”
