Beachwood & Pine Beach PBA Local 253

10/17/2026

Throughout October, officers of the Beachwood Police Department will wear pink badges in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. These badges recognize those affected, including survivors, those in treatment, and the families and friends who stand with them. We also honor the memory of those we’ve lost.

🎃🐻 BEACHWOOD ELEMENTARY FALL FEST IS TONIGHT! 🐻🎃

PBA Local 253 is proud to sponsor Beachwood Elementary School SRO Justin Apel’s trunk, who will be at tonight’s event! 🚔🍬

Stop by, say hello to Officer Justin, and enjoy an evening of trunk-or-treat, food, music, inflatables, and more with our Beachwood community! 🧡💙

📍 WHERE: Beachwood Elementary School
📅 WHEN: Tonight, Friday, October 16
⏰ TIME: 5 PM – 8 PM

🎃 FALL FEST IS ON, BEARS! 🎃
It’s official - we’ll see you TOMORROW, Friday, October 16, from 5–8 p.m. at Beachwood Elementary! 💙

Here’s what to know before you go:

🍬 FREE trunk-or-treat in the teachers’ parking lot—our new location this year! Please visit each trunk only once so every child gets candy.

🎟️ Inflatable wristbands are $5 per child. Beachwood Bears who register AND share their Kindness Fundraiser page by 12 p.m. ET Friday, October 16 qualify for a FREE wristband!

🍴 Enjoy food, vendors and music! Bring your chairs and stay awhile.

🚗 Parking is available in the school’s drop-off lanes. Spaces are limited, so please walk if you can.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This is a family event, not a drop-off event. Children must stay with a parent or guardian, who is responsible for supervising them throughout the evening.

🍭 We still need candy! Feed the Monster at school, the class in each grade that donates the most wins a pizza party!

🙌 We also need volunteers! Sign up through the link in our bio or here: https://tr.ee/39gFUM3fpt

Costumes on, candy bags ready. Let’s make it a great night for our Bears! 🧡🐻‍❄️

🇺🇸 HONORING OUR HOMETOWN HEROES 🇺🇸

The Beachwood & Pine Beach PBA Local 253 is proud to support the Borough of Beachwood’s Hometown Heroes Banner Program and is looking to sponsor banners, at no cost to the family, for any past PBA 253 member who served in the United States Armed Forces. 🇺🇸

Whether you are a retired PBA member who served in the military, a family member of a former member, or looking to honor a deceased member who proudly served our country, we would love the opportunity to help recognize their service and sacrifice.

All retired members of PBA Local 253 who served in the military are eligible! We want to make sure our brothers and sisters who served our country are remembered and honored for their dedication, both to our communities and to our nation.

If you or someone in your family qualifies, please reach out to us to get the process started!

📩 Contact us:

* Message us here on Facebook
* Email us at [email protected]
* Reach out to any current PBA Local 253 member

Let’s work together to honor those who answered the call to serve. Thank you to all who have worn the uniform in service to our country! 🇺🇸💙
