SMC Safety Foundation Our mission is to raise awareness and funding for safety and security initiatives to protect our nations most valuable resource: Our Children

Believe it or not, our kids’ schools and churches are struggling to find (I.E. prioritize) funds for safety and security initiatives. While books, teaching tools, technology and dedicated teachers are the lifeblood of any school, shouldn’t a safe environment be at the top of that list? Given a choice would you try to get 1 or 2 more years out of a football or soccer uniform and use those dollars f

or additional security cameras and more time from school safety resource officers? Shouldn’t safety trump the kids looking great on the field in new uniforms? Unfortunately, schools are forced to make these types of decisions every day.
