Before “period poverty” was a recognized term, Delesia Robinson, a registered nurse with nearly 40 years of experience, was already taking action. Today, her nonprofit, Pride Among Daughters and Sisters Inc. 501c3 nonprofit, continues to bridge the gap in essential health care by providing menstrual products to those in need from its headquarters at 2197 Noble Road in Cleveland Heights, according to a news release.
