The Fairboard alone cannot do what needs to happen for a great fair weekend like we had with out a volunteers. Today we want to thank those that volunteered at the 2026 Golden Valley County Fair. We tried out best to list you all, but if we missed you know that you are also appreciated!!!

We are excited to be hosting the Beach Area Farmer's Market at the fairgrounds this summer. Market is held Monday nights from 5 to 6:30pm. Check out their group page here to see what offerings are available and to look for special events like community meals!

After a couple weeks of recovery its time to start looking back at the 2026 fair. We want to start by thanking the buyers that showed up in 102* weather to support our kids. Thanks to you!

During the Golden Valley County Fair this past week , I was frequently asked how many steps I’d taken during fair week. I thought it would be fun to turn it into a game and see who could guess the closest. The winner will receive a $10 gift card from Badlands Barista. Let’s see how many steps Dawn logged on her Fitbit from Monday, July 6th, to Sunday, July 12th, at noon. Share your guess below.
