Bravo to the Ukrainian Divers who sustained a Six Day dive in freezing conditions

🚒 Ukrainian rescuers completed a six-day underwater operation in freezing conditions to help restore heat and electricity in Kyiv after Russian shelling damaged critical infrastructure.

Despite temperatures dropping to –15°C, SES divers worked in icy water to stop flooding at a thermal power plant, enabling repairs to continue and preventing further damage. Five rescuers were awarded state honors for their bravery.

With great pride this year Berkeley Dive Team will be providing our 50 th Year of developing & deploying Search, Rescue, Recovery and Remediation techniques, and purpose-built equipment to perform services around, in, on and under water. Thanks to all the efforts of our past and present Volunteer Members in 2026 we will continue to provision impactful solutions that utilize Marine Ecosystem Surveys, Environmental Inspections, Hazard Assessments, Salvage Lifting & Towing, Forensic Evidence Handling, and Operational Safety Improvements.
