“A” is a teen living with complex medical needs who is preparing for a transplant.

His dream was to see the New York Knicks, and we were able to get him tickets to the Eastern Conference Finals at Madison Square Garden! The energy, excitement, and joy of was everything this high school senior had hoped for and more.

“A” has already been accepted to a college nursing program — a testament to his strength, compassion, and determination. The are on a winning streak, and we’re hoping “A” will continue on one of his own.

T is a teen living with complex medical needs who loves to cook. His dream was to be able to craft his own jerky recipes — and we were able to outfit his kitchen with everything he needs to do just that.

S is a young adult who has had three major surgeries. Before each operation, she said “I deserve a bag!” After weeks of careful planning and Fairy Godmother magic — S’s Dream came true at the Louis Vuitton store on 57th Street in NYC. S received a VIP tour, explored the collection with a wonderful LV Associate, and selected an elegant Félicie bag and a bandeau scarf.

A is about to turn 8, and we were able to grant a Dream just in time for her birthday – an American Girl Doll of her very own!

Along with her mom and younger sisters (ages 5 and 3), A had a Dream shopping spree at the the American Girl Store in NYC. The girls each picked out a doll of their own, along with outfits, accessories, and a matching dress — all before a big birthday lunch at American Girl Café.

Later that evening, we received a message from A’s mother –

“It truly wasn’t just an ordinary day—it was filled with joy, laughter, and beautiful moments that made our family so happy. You helped make my kids’ dreams come true… Honestly, this was one of the most beautiful days in our family’s life. It’s a memory we will always cherish.”

The Fairy Godmother Foundation of New York, Inc.® proudly marched with our colleagues from the Queens Chamber of Commerce in the Bayside St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 26, 2026.

Headquartered in Bayside, the Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity serving the entire New York–New Jersey metropolitan area. Our mission is simple and joyful: making Dreams come true for children and young adults living with complex medical needs.
