Kristin LaRoque Hasbrook and I visited Camp Kindred yesterday. WOW! What an amazing program and staff. Their mission is to "create an intentional community that brings together children of different race, ethnicity, and economic advantage" - and their campers and staff reflect the diversity of our community. In addition, programming is provided YEAR-ROUND and transitions to "Project Lead" for HS age kids - providing leadership and job opportunities for our youth. Congrats to Exec Director Tom Cramer, the staff and Board for creating this unique and special program that our community/country so badly needs.

The Foundation (Steve Hasbrook) has partnered with Heiliger Huegel Ski Club and Goggles For Docs to get protective eyewear in the hands of our frontline healthcare workers who need them desperately. If you live in the Milwaukee area we've set up a Drop-off location at the Heiliger Huegel Ski Club parking lot and are accepting donated goggles NOW! If you would prefer to leave them on your porch or "curbside" I would be happy to come and get them as well - just send me a FT Messenger post. THANKS!

Google for Docs is an organization whose mission is to get ski goggles into the hands of healthcare workers who currently have no eye protection as they treat COVID-19 patients.

If you have an extra pair of goggles 😎 (or 10) lying around and would like to help out, please consider donating them!

We have turned our empty HH parking lot into a Goggles For Docs Drop-Off 🙌🏼!

When you enter the parking lot, park by the stairs and drop your goggles in the bins outside of the Boot Room.

While our ski season was cut short, that doesn’t mean we can’t come together as a community and make a meaningful impact during this time of crisis 💙.

Happy Birthday Shaney! Thinking of Shane on the day he would have turned TWENTY. Hard to believe it's been 19 years since we lost him. Thanks to Julie Hasbrook Reuteman and Cynthia LaRoque for the beautiful remembrance displayed at the cemetery.

This pic of Shaney's headstone and NEW shade tree was taken on the anniversary of his death on July 15th. Thanks to Karl DicksonLisa Horngren DicksonVicky Morrison and Mike Morrison there is a new seedless honey locust tree on his plot already providing shade. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers on the 19th anniversary of his death. Next milestone is his birthday coming up on August 19th.
