💛 UPDAT ADOPTED!!!! 💛
Adeline is a 1-year-old Yellow Lab mix who was brought into a local shelter in Louisiana. Keri stepped up to take this girl and claim her for NYSRR. She is a sweet, smart girl with lots of potential—but we are learning that she really doesn’t know the basics yet.
It is hard to understand why an almost 1 year old dog is still struggling to learn how to walk on a leash or give a signal to go outside. We believe she was probably just an outside dog for her short life. We are working with her and she is a quick learner who is eager to please. Her new family will need to be patient and willing to help her learn.
The pluses for this girl - Adeline is smart, sweet, willing, and eager to please. She just needs someone who is willing to give her the time, attention, training, and affection she deserves.
Adeline currently lives with several other dogs and would do great with another confident canine companion to help show her the wropes. 🐶🐶

🌸 Meet Nola — Your Steel Magnolia 🌸

Nola is an 11-month-old Louisiana pup, estimated to top out under 60 lbs — the perfect in-between size. She's playful, partially trained, and already showing off her smarts in her videos. Like the flower, she's got Southern grace on the outside and real resilience underneath — a girl who's ready to grow alongside a family who'll grow right back with her.

She needs room to run, a family to train with, and someone to love her the way she's ready to love them.

She spent her days on the end of a chain, with only the dirt under a shack for shelter. That was NOLA's whole world. Now look at the light in her eyes. She's ready to know what it feels like to be loved, to sleep somewhere soft, to have a family of her own. This is NOLA — and her happy ending is still waiting to be written. ❤️

Meet NOLA! 🐾

This sweet young beagle/lab mix is looking for her perfect match — and honestly, she's not too picky. NOLA is adaptable, affectionate, and easygoing, which makes her a great fit for lots of different households.

The one thing she does need? Company. She's still young and thrives with people around, so a home where she won't be left alone all day, every day, is ideal.

These sweet siblings just turned 1 year old and have been waiting WAY too long for their forever homes. They are easy dogs, crate trained, good with other dogs, and currently living in foster care in Louisiana.

Sometimes rescue isn’t about finding the perfect Lab. Sometimes it’s simply about seeing a dog who needs help and saying…

💙 Meet McCoy — Our Handsome, Handsome Good Boy! 💙

McCoy has been with us for several months now, and honestly… WE. DO. NOT. UNDERSTAND. IT. 😍

How does this handsome boy STILL not have a forever home?!

McCoy is now about 6 months old, and he seems to get more handsome every single day! As he’s grown, we’re starting to wonder if this sweet boy might possibly have some Flat-Coated Retriever in him. 🐾

Never heard of a Flat-Coated Retriever? Think the sweet, happy disposition of a Golden Retriever, combined with slightly longer, beautiful wavy black hair.

He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is just an all-around good boy who deserves a family of his very own. He has so much love to give — now he just needs someone to give it to!

🐾 BENTLEY IS ON LONG ISLAND! 🐾

Looking for a goofy, lovable, fun-loving companion? Well… come on down and meet Bentley! 💙 This handsome boy is officially on Long Island and settling into his foster home!

Bentley is about 2–3 years old, and sadly, most of his young life has been spent in boarding. He was pulled by another rescue and placed in a Louisiana kennel—where he waited… and waited… for an entire year. They never came back for him. 😔

When we were asked to help, of course we said YES! Bentley needed some medical care, but that chapter is now behind him. 🎉

And let us tell you about this boy—he is TALL, lanky, goofy and absolutely adorable! 😂 He is super sweet, loves other dogs, and has the energy of a puppy packed into a giant dog suit!

For the first time, Bentley is getting to experience the life he should have had all along—walks, running, swimming, playtime and doggy friends! 🐾💦

His foster cousins are wonderful, but they’re a little more mature and laid-back. Bentley is hoping to find some fun, energetic dog friends who are ready to PLAY! 🥳
