Legion Family;

For those who are not aware or have not heard Jersey City Police Officer Morton Otundo was killed in a motorcycle accident while off duty. Officer Otunto was a with the Jersey City Police department since 2014 he leaves behind son Andrew and a wife Janis. The American Legion extended our condolences to the Otundo family, a GoFund was setup and the Post pledged $100 in the memory of officer Otundo.

Carl Kline entered Post forever lasting on December 16th 2020

Carl served his country faithfully and honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war.He continued to serve his community as 24 year member of the American legion and the Sons of the American legion where he has held various positions in both organizations including the high offices of Hudson County American Legion Vice Commander and Sons of The American Legion Detachment Vice Commander.He further served his community as a life member and former lieutenant in the Bayonne Fire Canteen as well as a member of the Masonic Peninsula Lodge #99,

A memorial service will be held
