In partnership with Ignacio Out and Equal, Pine River Shares began the 1st of 10 weekly distributions of summer food backpacks for kids.
30 backpacks were distributed. Each bag contains approximately 7 kid-friendly meals and snacks. Every Tuesday, 12-1, throughout the summer, in front of the Ignacio Community Library.

20 backpacks were distributed in the Allison, Arboles, and San Brito communities. Call Pine River Shares to request to add a young person to the TARA area distribution list. 970-884-6040.

Memorial Day Holiday Schedule

Due to the Memorial Day holiday, two of our upcoming pet food pantries have been rescheduled.

Our Bayfield pet food pantry at Pine River Shares, 658 S East St, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 26th from 11AM–1PM.

Our Loveland pet food pantry at Food Bank for Larimer County, 2600 N Lincoln Ave, has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 30th from 9AM–11AM.
