An open letter to our Wolverine Wonders community π
For the second time, we gathered to celebrate our children and close another homeschool year together.
A graduation ceremony gives us the opportunity to pause, close a chapter, and recognize how much each child has grown in their own unique way. Watching their confidence, friendships, kindness, independence, and sense of belonging grow throughout the year is one of the greatest privileges of what we do.
With this celebration, Wolverine Wonders officially closed our second year as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we are now stepping into our third! π₯³
To every parent, caregiver, board member, collaborator, and sponsor, thank you. Your support allows us to welcome families with materials prepared, projects ready, and meaningful opportunities waiting for their children.
A very special thank you to the Bayfield Lions Club for opening its doors to us and giving Wolverine Wonders a place to call home.
Thank you to Ami Crawford for the beautiful and delicious graduation cake, to Andrew Trujillo for preparing our delicious pasta dinner, and to Tiffany Bates for the amazing salad and garlic bread. You helped make the celebration feel even more special! πππ₯
Wolverine Wonders is 100% a community entity, and the way our community continues to believe in our mission and help us serve local families means more than I could ever express.
And yes, this was only our second graduation ceremony, and I still had quite a lot to say. π
I promise I will continue working on making my speeches shorter as the years go by. No guarantees, but I will try! π€π€£
π Congratulations, Wondering Wolverines, on completing the 2025β2026 homeschool year in community and joy. We are so proud of every single one of you! ππ
With love,
Milena
