We seek to provide opportunities to act justly and do good with the purpose to renew dignity by meeting the unmet + basic needs of women experiencing adversity in our local and global community. We consider it unjust that women in our local community do not possess basic items such as daily hygiene products or simple household necessities. Women in global communities face unjustifiable circumstanc
e due to a lack resources to rise out of poverty or vital care to escape trafficking. From volunteer, community engagement, donor, and marketplace opportunities we deliver practical kindness by meeting the basic physical needs of vulnerable women through our purposeful partnerships in SW Colorado and global organizations. We believe that practical kindness addresses the true need of the recipient, and when basic needs are met joy, hope, and dignity arise. With the support of many, Power to Act offers justice through a Purse with Purpose, a sensible, needs-based handbag, donated to women experiencing homelessness or domestic violence in SW Colorado and handcrafted by women artisans in our global communities.
