An LightHeArtists’ Life as Saving Grace.

Marshall Deerfield shared an experience not available to be shared. But it prompted this writing as I see what’s happening in our world.

So here’s what happened as a result of his expression about living in Philadelphia and the art festival called “Wierdos.”

It’s happening all over. “Gentrifying” while corporations buy up real estate for profit making everything business and high dollar bottom lines pricing the middle class out of existence.

The art of living creatively and freely in unity with Life’s unfolding and the basic needs for food shelter and space and room to allow the creative urge to take us where It Will, not affordable. Unrealistic, not valued, seen as indulgence, no time for it, gotta work hard to make a living.

Given to live, living to give, to make valuable contribution in a creative Life.

Art is less and less taught ot taught in schools now. Along with recess being abandoned, no time for play, no time to make music, dance, color, create something out of nothing.

Even classifying the artistic event as “weird” pushes it out of the norm while creativity is essential expression necessary for resilience and well-being. It communicates in ways that speak of the unseen making Itself evident and explicit.

We are a creative endeavor and are to be creative in life as well. It’s part of daily living when we recognize it’s living flow as Life Itself. It’s life-giving radiant expression that waters the very earth of the soul for seeding new creations to blossom and bear fruit nourishing more souls.

Yet it must become a business or be done in spare time if you’re not exhausted by living without it. Being productive in workplaces is seldom creative. The time it takes to commune with one’s muse is unproductive waste of time.

I find I’m mourning what’s happening in our world where Spirit, soul and heart aren’t held as priceless platinum diamond aspects of us to be nurtured, nourished and supported. Instead we must comply with the economic machinery that is so deadening.

Creative LightHeArtistry is a way of living fully, and can include that basic mundanity of daily living. We profit greatly from it even though the bank account isn’t overflowing. For some it’s still a way out of poverty, thank Goodness that it’s irrepressible and makes contact meaningfully! Even how we use money can be in creative flow, inflow outflow a kind of dance in the currency of creative love of Life.

Perhaps the “luxury lofts” and that whole empty lifestyle will lose its glamour. Those who’ve found fulfillment in simple living creatively, gathering with fellow “weirdos” in co-creative freedom, especially in a town that’s all about Freedom to Be, (Philadelphia) will be an invitation that calls more of us to exit the excessive wealth of worldly living to come alive more deeply. It’s far less stressful on systems designed to be creatively dynamic and fully alive.

Some of us can’t help but risk it, can we? The longing for the ineffable active in us is undeniable. We cannot but make contribution to the elemental and essential LightHearted Essential Conversation that calls us to give it voice, color, movement, space, freedom to express.

In This, as Such we are expressive saving grace in everything we do. Imagine that.

The whole world and all of Life abundant is on-going creative endeavor. I call it LightHearted Enterprises a planetary ship in infinite creative space that Is alive. This we are. Let’s Be FU-UNding This.

I wanted to reshare this from my friend Michael, in a slightly different way.

"When we get out of the glass bottles of our own ego,
and when we escape like squirrels from turning in the cages
of our personality

we shall shiver with cold and fright
but things will happen to us
so that we don’t know ourselves.

Cool, unlying life will rush in,

and passion will make our bodies taut with power,

we shall stamp our feet with new power
and old things will fall down,

we shall laugh, and institutions will curl up like burnt paper."

~D.H. Lawrence

I could riff on many of these lines.
“Things will happen to us so that we don’t know ourselves” in a benevolent universe, things happen FOR us to humbly not know ourselves. Consider that that way the universe is set up, we have experiences, many that are quite challenging, that show us our self-defeated unconscious knowing, and take us beyond that out of necessity. We must rise to the occasion. Ever have that or are having that happen?

“Cool, UNLYING Life will rush in” — what a great sentence! The use of unlying — not saying true or real life, but unlying… the implication of being free from the “cages of our personality” has to do with lying, falsehood, untrue way of being and living. …
And this “Life will rush in” — I say “true nature adores a vacuum” often. In the absence of personality there’s a vacancy, open space that is rushed to be filled in by unlying Life. It’s a creative life force of spirit that rushes in —

“And passion will make our bodies taut with power” it’s not coming through the distortions of personality — it’s the power to Be what Is, it accompanies Life rushing in, the very power that gives Life makes “our bodies taut” with it. Experiencing being taut in the body, fully present in the Now, ready for anything, awake, alive, alert, strong, steadfast unwavering, fired up but the aim is unlying life alive as what is.

“we shall stamp our feet with new power” this is taut upright stationed where we are as Life Source power, quaking the foundation of the lie “and old things shall fall down.” Empires fall, ours is undergoing either transformation or downfall. Often they go together. It takes us standing and stomping without attacking. Simply empowered to Be what Is and making it Real in our lives …

“We shall laugh” it’s the Joy of Being — JOB. It’s the Freedom, the Will, the Truth, Love and power to Be what we are that no institutions external to us or based in the lie of separation has any power — not a bit to govern the free Spirit ensouled in our bodies are. Even if we are incarcerated for it, put in concentration camps, refugee sites, etc. the old institutions and old ways of dominating of colonialism. “Thou couldst have no power over me
‘Cept it comes from above.”
“…curl up like burnt paper.”

The transformation of human norm to eco-logosical Consciousness is well underway. This that Lawrence pointed to in the 1920s is underway. We are being brought to it by necessity, that divine great mother of invention. Access to what is greater than us, of ourselves, is required.

We already are what is needed and necessary. Uncloaking its invisibility cloak requires we show up as Presence fulfilled and supported in our freedom from conditioning. This involves denuding ourselves, getting transparent open and receptive in a vacuous grace-filled spiritual life. It’s the only Life there is.

Let the unlying Life deliverance take place world wide! Unlearning how not to Be This we are, it’s the magical mystery tour of a lifetime, and sooo worth it, for the good of All by the All-in-all.

There’s a lot out there about narcissism nowadays. Pop psychology doesn’t get to the depth of the wound that results in the development of an ego. All egos are narcissistic to some degree. We stare into our reflections hoping someone will fall in love with us, maybe our self! This covers up something far deeper.

We all have different experiences of not being seen or recognized, not being valued in truth, as an individualization of This LightHearted Being. At bottom that results in disconnection from our Self, this One that loves us totally and unconditionally.

Our reliance on external people to provide that fades away in our realization of who and what we are, the very seeing and hearing, admiration we seek from others is always available from the Indwelling Presence that works always toward unity amid its infinite diversity. This Love inevitably draws all to Itself.

When looking in the mirror, who is seen? When looking in the mirror of reality, who is seen? When looking within, who is seen?

“What comes and goes is not real,
See the seer” ~Sri Ramana Maharshi

One of the major defining moments of my life occurred when I was truly seen by Gangaji. The Self seeing and recognizing Itself, it’s a gaze permanently embossed and imprinted in my being. It’s miraculous.

Encountering the narcissistic personality in self &/or other is very difficult. Labeling it can help and hinder. The accusation cuts deep, wounding what is already wounded. In the understanding that it’s part of any ego formation is a mirror-like wisdom that allows compassion for the distress, and allows clear seeing through to the depths and finally to the truth. There is no such wounded entity. It’s a fixation.

See that the Seer, the one seeing is the same as the one seen, reflections dissolve. One simply Is what sees Itself in all. It makes all the difference in the world.

It’s so nice when what happens in us to “create our own reality” is so clearly explained.

I would simply add to the thought, e.g. “bad things always happen to me” is that it also can be somatic, psychosomatic, especially as in traumatically impacting the entire system. So these thoughtform entities (demons that can be cast out) have generation as a hyper vigilant state that is constantly on the lookout for the next bad thing to happen that must be somehow survived. Then we see nervous system limbic reptilian brain activity and instinctual drive involved with the historical unmitigated experience that gave rise to the thought form “s #!t happens then you die.” If the abuse or trauma is repetitive or chronic, it gets set deeply in and becomes “this is how it is.” Conviction. So the I thought continues to arise when conditions perceived through this veil are such that it triggers the embedded default reactions and we stay locked in the sane reality and world we were in even before we had a thought about it, before cognition as thoughtforms we learn as we grow happen. Before the thought “I” and “you” occurred.

It’s so good to Be aware, awake to this. It’s where our freedom, peace, love, joy, compassion etc etc etc abides, ever-present within us. Our vigilance then is the relaxed state of Being aware of various energy formations and movements. These little “entities” Ekhart calls them, including those diminishing ones of that Super Ego, and it’s apt, can dissolve as they arise. We not longer believe them, we no longer identify with them.

The unfolding of our true nature within us naturally takes care of liberating these formations, undoing them from their inception points even, such that they no longer hold sway; can’t capture us unaware anymore.

From within stillness and silence all movement is noticed. The comings and goings continue. That’s part of life. But not being invested through identification with a me that is only considered to be this body erodes.

It’s Good News.
It’s only natural.

We are NOT limited by what our conditioned mind perceives and interprets. In Silence pure consciousness self-illuminates and self-actualizes which includes us and the manifest realm.

Allowing pure Consciousness access to our living subjective experience lets infinite potential work Itself out in and through form.

We learn that formlessness and form are not two. We are organisms of Consciousness, LightHearted in nature.

As in meditation/prayer Consciousness penetrates the subjective identified structures of consciousness including sub- and un-consciousness, individual and collective, all kinds of wonders occur. We literally lighten up and creatively emerges new potentials we never conceived of before. We get to bring them to Life. What fun!

I often wonder how to express what it’s like to live when the essential enlivens a soul body.

It’s nondoing Being that allows the illumined to live naturally.

Let the unwavering principles of honesty and fairness guide your actions, always reflecting the Sacred Teachings of the Red Road.

Welcome the stranger, heal the wounded, and be strong for the weak. Never be afraid to be who you are. Help those who cannot see and guide those who have lost their way. Embody truth and loyalty, uphold what is right, and breathe life into our Human Family and all life. Be a powerful sign of justice, empowering and reminding us of our sacred responsibilities.

Shine brightly with virtue, nurture the hearts of others, sail on the waters of knowledge, and spread wisdom generously. Be a light in the world, illuminating the path for others and bearing the fruit of humility. Your light can inspire and guide those around you, making the world a better place.

It’s so important to celebrate life while we live it, such as it is. No matter what’s going on, we are Love and can Love This and Love One another, just breathing Love into the open enhances it for all.
