Join us for GATHER: BAYarts Creative Wellness Women’s Retreat, a transformative weekend designed to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit. Set among the serene natural beauty surrounding Huntington Reservation, this retreat blends creativity, connection, and a little time just for you.

🧘‍♀️ Saturday, 10/10: Ease in with gentle yoga, create a meaningful gratitude ceramic tile, design your own personal talisman, enjoy a catered lunch, and connect with fellow retreat-goers over drinks and light bites.

A rising young talent is performing at Moondance!

We’re excited to showcase Ryals Thompson, a 14-year-old guitarist from Chagrin Falls who studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music under Nolan Juaire. With a passion for both classical and jazz guitar, Ryals is already bringing incredible talent and artistry to the next generation of musicians.

As BAYarts continues renovations in the Cultural Center, we’re looking forward to expanding our performing arts offerings—including more opportunities in music. Showcasing talented young artists like Ryals is a small glimpse of the creative future we’re excited to help cultivate.

Come experience his beautiful guitar playing at Moondance and help us celebrate art in all its forms—and at every age.🎶

BAYarts invites artists from across the region to join us for the 2026 Artistic By Nature Plein Air Paint Out, celebrating the beauty of our lakeside campus and the surrounding Huntington Reservation.

📅 October 2–4, 2026
📍 BAYarts + Huntington Reservation, Bay Village
🏆 $500 Best of Show + additional awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Nocturne, and Quick Paint

This juried competition invites artists 18+ to create original two-dimensional work on site and in true plein air style—from realism to abstraction and everything in between.

We're also thrilled to welcome Nicole Maye Luga as our 2026 judge! A recent first-place winner in the Ohio Plein Air Society's annual competition, Nicole brings an accomplished eye and deep appreciation for the plein air tradition.

Can’t decide between Moondance and the football game? Why not score both?

On September 12, the Ohio State vs. Texas matchup kicks off at 7:30 PM—and Moondance attendees won’t have to sit this one out! We’ll be showing the game on a TV on the Cultural Center patio, so you can enjoy a night of art, music, friends, and creative spirit and keep an eye on the action.

And because we like a little friendly competition, we’re also hosting a game of Squares during the game for our Moondance guests only! Scan the QR code on this graphic and purchase a square for $25 to enter. Another great play to support BAYarts!

Artist, Cynthia Penter, will screen her experimental dance films on 8/29 in the BAYarts Cultural Center Auditorium from 2-4 PM.

The Sally J. Otto gallery in the Cultural Center will be open one hour before and one hour after the screening to view Penter's Retrospective Show, "In Motion and (re)Pose". Come view it with us!

This event is free and open to the public.
