O. M. F.... it's a COSTUME CONTEST! OMF won't be the only ones rockin' it this spooktacular concert on 10/23! What halloween costume can you and your crew rock best?

Come dressed to impressed and show off your Halloween creativity for a chance to win prizes in three categories:

No costume? No problem! Costumes are not required to join us and jam out. Just come ready to do the monster mash!

What an incredible night! Friday's Gallery Opening, Deep Earth Dreaming, was an immersive installation by Alison McKim that thoughtfully instilled how to slow down, explore, and reconnect with the healing power of nature.

Inspired by Alison’s experience at the 2024 Deep Ecology Artist Residency along the Ohio River, this evocative exhibition weaves together wild plants, imagery, historic textiles, and natural materials to honor the medicine of nature—and the stories of women who came before us.

This exhibit will be in our Sullivan Family Gallery until November 7th. Come explore and experience the work for yourself!

PLUS! Join us TONIGHT, October 14, 7:00-8:30pm for a Mugwort Meditation in the Gallery Enjoy a cup of wild mugwort tea, listen to the story of Deep Earth Dreaming, Alison McKim's current show in the BAYarts Sullivan Gallery. Finish the day with a relaxing sound bath, breath work, and guided meditation in the gallery, all led by Alison McKim. Wear comfy clothes and bring your yoga mat. We hope to see you!

Please Join us this Wednesday, October 14, 7- 8:30 for a Mugwort Meditation in the Gallery Enjoy a cup of wild mugwort tea, listen to the story of Deep Earth Dreaming, Alison McKim's current show in the BAYarts Sullivan Gallery. Finish the day with a relaxing soundbath, breathwork,and guided meditation in the gallery, led by Alison McKim. Wear comfy clothes and bring your yoga mat. We hope to see you!

Free at the door since 1916, and that was the plan from the start. The Cleveland Museum of Art was founded in 1913 and opened three years later in the Wade Park district of University Circle, under a charter saying it existed for the benefit of all the people forever. Hubbell & Benes, a Cleveland firm, drew up the Neoclassical building and faced it in white Georgia marble.

Inside are more than 61,000 works. The Asian holdings rank among the strongest in the country, the Egyptian collection reaches across every period of ancient Egypt, and the medieval galleries include part of the Guelph Treasure, alongside over 480 works of African art. General admission is still free. Special exhibitions are ticketed, the doors are closed Mondays, and Wednesday and Friday run late until 9 p.m.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for BAYarts’ Artistic by Nature Plein Air Paint Out! From paint brushes meeting the landscape to the beautiful work created throughout the weekend, it was such a joy to see artists capturing the beauty of our lakeside campus, Huntington Reservation, and surrounding landscape.

Thank you to all of the talented artists who participated, you helped make this three-day celebration of art, nature, and creativity truly special. 💙

Need a little creative time for your 3–6 year old AND a little time for yourself? BAYarts offers fun, hands-on drop-off art classes where your little artist can create, explore, play, and make new discoveries—all while you get a couple of hours back in your day!

From painting, collaging and clay, to crafts, nature experiences, and holiday creations, there’s plenty for little hands and big imaginations.

Rain or shine, WE’RE PAINTING! ☔️

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for the first day of the BAYarts Plein Air Paint Out! And while the forecast may be looking a little soggy, don’t let the rain scare you away. We have plenty of covered spaces, porches, and sheltered spots throughout the BAYarts grounds where you can set up, stay dry, and keep painting!

At this event, we invite plein air artists from across the region to join us for the 2026 Artistic By Nature Plein Air Paint Out, celebrating the beauty of our lakeside campus and the surrounding Huntington Reservation.

So grab your paints, pack your rain gear, and come embrace the beauty of autumn—even when the skies are a little moody. Starts tomorrow at BAYarts!
