With all the riders out for Bike to School, we wanted to bring up rider safety.
Bicycle Helmets help keep the squishy stuff on the inside. Kind of an important thing. Helmets, while some look kind of dorky, there are quite a few really nice, lightweight, highly ventilated and not crazy money models out there.
The biggest things are the care and feeding of your helmet, and buying it from a bike shop. The reason we say that is Amazon, Walmart and other online sites have had hundreds of thousands of helmets recalled over the last 5+ years. The ones we offer, nope, not a single one!
Also, a quality helmet will last a good 5 years if it's taken care of. And a bicycle store will make sure the helmet fits properly, online sites can't do that!
Make sure to wear a helmet, it could save your life!
