We celebrated our ovarian cancer survivors with their family and friends yesterday at our 11th. Annual OROC Teal Luncheon and Fashion Show and what a wonderful afternoon it was! THANK YOU to our beautiful models, Jessica & Addie, Rose, Tabitha, Lee, Mary & Colson, Heather, Gaby, Joan and Donna! THANK YOU to Anneleise & Josie and their staff from Dillard's Southpark Mall, Fount Crocker Park, Gervasi Winery, our friends at the Embassy Suites Independence and all who attended! Save the date 10/2/27 for our 12th. Annual Luncheon 🩵

During National Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Week as we say goodbye to September and get ready to welcome October if breast cancer runs in your family you may have an increased risk of ovarian cancer with an inherited BRCA1 or BRCA2 genetic mutation. Women who carry a BRCA mutation have up to a 60% lifetime risk of developing ovarian cancer, and 85% lifetime risk of developing breast cancer.

Yesterday OROC had the honor of attending the Mary’s Fight Lift Every Voice 19th. Anniversary Annual Luncheon. Mary’s Fight raises ovarian cancer awareness, generates support for caregivers with a special emphasis on the men in our lives and raises funds for nursing scholarships at Cuyahoga Community College.
