The mission of the Hancock Health Foundation is to assist with improving the health and wellbeing of people who live and work in Hancock County, especially people whose unique healthcare needs have not been met because of unforeseen circumstances.

Access to quality healthcare is essential to building a healthier Hancock County.

Yesterday, the Hancock Chamber and members of the Health Foundation Board joined Coastal Family Health Center in celebrating the opening of its new Bay St. Louis pharmacy, another step forward in making healthcare more accessible and convenient for local residents.

For more than 50 years, Coastal Family Health Center has worked to provide affordable, high-quality healthcare throughout our community. This new pharmacy, managed by Dr. Mikki Ladner, expands that commitment by helping patients more easily access medications and pharmacy services close to home.

Hancock Health Foundation shares a similar mission—supporting the health and well-being of those who live and work in Hancock County, especially individuals whose healthcare needs may otherwise go unmet due to unforeseen circumstances.

Hear from Hancock Chamber Executive Director Tish Williams and Coastal Family Health Center CEO Angel Greer as they discuss the impact of this new pharmacy, available services, hours of operation, and the continued commitment to improving health outcomes across Hancock County. We are very proud to help serve in this initiative!

Members of the Hancock Health Foundation recently delivered 120 pounds of chicken, 21 pounds of red beans, and 15 gallons of green beans to The King's Kitchen—an outreach ministry of Central Bible Church dedicated to feeding the homeless and those in need throughout the community. This effort reflects the Foundation’s mission to improve the health and wellbeing of Hancock County residents, especially those facing unmet healthcare needs due to unforeseen circumstances.

In this video, Foundation members not only assist with the food drop-off but also share a look ahead at two upcoming initiatives supporting that mission: the Pride with a Purpose Golf Tournament and the Great Balls of Fire Bowling Event on May 9 in Diamondhead.
