Good Morning Parents!
Just a couple of things:
1. This is a friendly reminder that if you do not sign your wrestler up for the East Islip tournament by today the price goes up tomorrow. If your child is wrestling on January 5th please let me know ASAP as this is an “online only” sign up. We need to make sure there are enough coaches for our program. The only way I will know this is if you tell me.

2. Practice shirts and shorts are fine for this and all tournaments, headgear is not required however recommended. You do NEED wrestling shoes, I believe everyone has a pair if not - please see me at the next practice and we can look through the bin together

3. I have the remaining practice shirts and will hand them out at next practice along with the rest of the USA Wrestling cards with your child’s membership #. (If you are signing your child up and do not have their USA # please reach out to me and I’ll be happy to give it to you today)

4. If your child is apprehensive about participating in this tournament please go with their gut feeling. We have plenty of wrestling this season! This is supposed to be fun at their age and we are not looking to discourage any wrestler. You are always welcome to spectate to see how the tournaments are ran.

5. Coach Amber is hosting her girls tournament at the Bay Shore High School tomorrow and would love to see some support from our kids as she is a former kid wrestler herself and one of our first very successful female wrestlers to come out of this amazing program - wear maroon! This is her first year being sanctioned and has 13 girls wrestling for Bay Shore!!! Coach Tim and I will be there all day and would love to see you all there.
