🇺🇸 MS-934 AFJROTC at The Wall That Heals – D’Iberville, MS 🇺🇸

Today, our cadets had the powerful opportunity to visit and volunteer at The Wall That Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, currently set up in D’Iberville, MS.

While there, cadets assisted visitors in locating the names of friends and loved ones on the wall, helped with other volunteer duties, and took time to reflect on the sacrifice and service of those who gave their all.

It was a moving experience and a meaningful way for us to honor and remember the legacy of Vietnam veterans.

We are grateful for the opportunity to pay our respects. 🕊️🇺🇸

🚀 MS-934 AFJROTC Takes Flight! ✈️

Today, our cadets had an incredible experience visiting the 403rd Wing at Keesler Air Force Base! 💪🇺🇸 They learned about the unit’s mission, explored Air Force operations, and even had the unforgettable opportunity to fly in a C-130! 🛩️🔥

We were also joined by our sister unit from Biloxi High School, making the day even more special! 🎉 Huge thanks to the 403rd for hosting us and giving our cadets this amazing experience. 👏👏

🎭 MS-934 AFJROTC in the Krewe of Diamondhead Parade! 🎭

Last Saturday, our cadets hit the streets for the Krewe of Diamondhead Parade 🎺🚶‍♂️🇺🇸 bringing some JROTC spirit to the Mardi Gras fun! It was a great time being part of the celebration, and we hope everyone enjoyed the parade!

📢 Exciting News for MS-934 AFJROTC! 🚀

Today, our Corps of Cadets underwent our HHQ inspection, where we were evaluated by Higher Headquarters. We are beyond proud to announce that we earned exceeds standards with no discrepancies!

This is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and discipline of every cadet in our unit. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this outstanding achievement—let’s keep pushing forward and striving for excellence!

Tonight cadets planned an executed our Combat Dining-In. This event produces camaraderie and raises morale within our unit. Our guest speaker was Staff Sergeant David Garcia. The Cadets had a blast! Much thanks to Hancock County MS Government for allowing us to use the Lakeshore Community Center for our event. After the event the Corps donated left overs to the Waveland Fire Department.

MS-934 in action in our local community! Today, Cadets executed a community service project in downtown Bay St. Louis collecting trash.

For the 2nd year in a row, MS-934 has been so honored to host such an amazing event. Today 190 wreaths were placed on veterans graves at the Waveland Cemetery, for Wreaths Across America Day. We are so proud to bring our community together to Remember the fallen, Honor those who served and there families, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom.
