While at our competition on Saturday we had a mishap with a drum carrier and lacked the tools to repair it. We are so very thankful that the staff of Gulf Shores High School Band was able to provide what we needed to get things put right. The kindness of the band community in our district is unmatched.

Awards night will be held tomorrow, May 1st at 6:30 in the BCHS cafeteria. All Marching and Concert band students and their guests are invited. There is no charge to attend, as refreshments will not be served

The BCHS Spring Concert will be held May 9th at 7:00 PM in the BCHS Gym

Congratulations to Landon Roberts and Kaiden Smith! They both missed their Prom to participate in All State Band Festival this weekend. Landon was First chair Red Band and Kaiden was Eighth chair Red Band! Landon also placed Fifth place out of Ten in All State Solo Fest Finalists!

Let’s also give a shout out to West Tollet (not pictured) for placing Second Chair the Middle School All State Red Band!!

Congratulations to the BCHS Symphonic Band on a job well done at their annual Music Performance Assessment (MPA)! They received Superior Ratings in all categories! All 1’s!!

Some of the seniors from The BCHS band had a great weekend! Payton Ball, Taylor Chain, and Kaiden Smith participated in the John Allen Memorial Scholarship Concert weekend with the Baldwin Pops! Our very own Kaiden Smith was one of the participants selected for a scholarship!

The Pride of Baldwin County High School Marching Band enjoyed an exciting parade season that kicked off in downtown Mobile where we participated in 3 events - Order of the Incas, Neptune’s Daughters & the Mystic Stripers. We also got to perform our routine while leading part of Neptune’s Daughters procession; what an honor! We eneded the season with the Shadow Barons parade in Daphne.

🎉Congratulations to our Mellophone Section Leader Parker Roley! 🎉He was one of the 60 selected to participate in the Annual University of Mobile Honor Band.! He placed third chair. The concert will be at the University of Mobile this afternoon!
