Today, PLAV members were proud to stand in honor and remembrance of the veterans who never made it home. From the riverfront to the cemeteries, we gathered with our community to pause, remember, and give thanks. 🇺🇸
We hope everyone had a meaningful Memorial Day. Never forget those who gave everything for this country.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day reminder 🇺🇸

Tomorrow, veterans organizations from across the Bay City area will be gathering at local cemeteries and memorial sites to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Please consider stopping out to a service near you. Even a few moments of remembrance means something. ❤️🤍💙

The full cemetery and honor guard schedule is posted below. We hope to see our community there as we remember those who made our freedoms possible.

This morning, members of the PLAV were out placing flags to honor our veterans ahead of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Every flag represents someone’s father, mother, brother, sister, friend, neighbor… someone who gave part of their life — or all of it — in service to this country.

Memorial Day is important because freedom is never free. Before the cookouts, beach days, road trips, and summer fun officially begin, we hope everyone takes a quiet moment to remember the people who made those freedoms possible.

From all of us at the PLAV, we wish you a safe, meaningful, and joy-filled Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy your families, enjoy the sunshine, enjoy this beautiful country — and remember those who helped protect it. ❤️🤍💙
