The greatest ever.

The 2024 National Paddleball Championships brought the best talent in the sport to the historic Glass Court Swim and Fitness facility in Lombard, Illinois. The top notch facility features 8 courts, including the championship Glass Court, which has hosted numerous International Racquetball Tour events over the years.

After relocating from New Mexico to Chicago, this year's event attracted additional players from Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and once again saw strong participation from California. The National Championships crowns paddleball champs in both singles and doubles.

Both Gearbox and Pro Kennex generously supported the event, with the winners of the Men’s A division (Cyrus Chinoy) and Men’s B division (Andy Pappas) each taking home new PK paddles.
To overcome being short-staffed, many thanks go out to volunteers who pitched in wherever possible. Special thanks go to Jen Burton Soley for her invaluable help, and of course, her hubby Al Lancaster, who made the social events unforgettable at AL's Bar. While there's always room for improvement, the NPA couldn’t be more pleased with the camaraderie and the incredibly high level of play.

The Pro Singles event delivered one of the best finals in years, with Thomas Carter (IRT #10) pushing Emmett Coe to a thrilling tiebreaker, the first player in years to truly test Emmett's dominance. Coe loosened up in games 2 and 3 to defend. As for the women’s singles, no one could challenge reigning champion Roxanne Rehling, who successfully defended her title once again.
