On Saturday, March 27, 2026, a “shootout” took place at Rusty Hook Ranch
only clay targets were harmed.
The Second Annual Hooked on Clays Tournament, hosted by the Lower Colorado CCA Chapter, was a tremendous success. Participants enjoyed excellent weather, strong competition, and true sportsmanship throughout the day.

• Male HOA: Cowboy Hunter Marks (Anthony’s Auto Werx Team) – Score: 93
Overall winners earned the honor of wearing impressive Belt Buckle Bling.

The event was such a success that plans are already underway for next year’s tournament—watch for details in 2027.
Additionally, keep an eye out for an upcoming Kids Fish event in Matagorda County, and be sure to mark your calendars for the Annual Lower Colorado CCA Banquet & Auction, scheduled for the first Friday in August (August 7). It is always a fun and well-attended event.
